What Is The Remedy For Vaginal Fungal Infection?

Can anyone help me regarding a persistent vaginal fungal infection? I'm at my wits' end. I have had swabs taken and a laboratory analysis done; they told me it was just a fungal infection and have prescribed a new kind of medication after I had an allergic reaction to another; other kinds haven't helped. The new medication (in the form of pessaries) helped for the first two days, but now the problem is back, if anything worse than before. Please help
