My Mom had a heart attack 14 days ago, and her health provider is not treating it. The only thing they did was give her Morphine when she was in the E.R. 3 days later (when she finally called them). They admitted that she has a "septal lesion" and that that part of her heart is dead; but they're claiming it's been there "for a long time," even though no one has ever told us about it. They're saying that she probably has arrythmias, and have her on a 30-day CardioPAL SAVI monitor. So, I believe after she's completed that, they're going to treat any arrythmias she may still have. Mind you, the extreme arrythmias developed right after she had the heart attack; in the E.R, she had PVC's. Anyway, all I want to know is what will happen to her/her heart since they're not treating the heart attack?
