What Is The Right Method To Buy Medicines As Prescribed By The Doctor?
What is the difference in CR & ER. generic I have been taking the ER and feel like zombie. The Pharmacist tell me there isno difference. I habe been taking th deep rd & small white Az afeel like zombie. Now I understand its because f of the different drug company. I remember receiving th pink ambein w/o this problem how can I make sure I get the right drug by the right mfg.
There certainly is not a RELIABLE difference. CR and ER are used interchangeably to indicate a medication that is put together to release drug slowly over time. About the same amount is packed in and is released in various brands of the same drug. There is not FDA (nor any other that I know of) standard for how fast a drug is released. It would vary so much between different people that it is basically impossible to make a rule for it. If you get generics you will get different packages each time. If you get the brand it will be reliably made the same way, but it will be the most expensive.
