What Is The Severe Pain In Leg With Hypo Intensity In Inter Vertebral Discs?
Hi, I am from Bangladesh. My mother is 48 years old. Her height is 5'5'' and she is 70 kgs. She is suffering from muscle pain in her entire left leg since 1 year. We have consulted with various doctors but everybody failed to relief her from unbearable pain. She screams in pain all the time. The MRI report shows that : - The lumber lordosis is slightly straightened. - Normal vertebral height and alignment are noted. - The inter-vertebral discs show hypo-intensity on T2W1, indicating degenerative disc diseases. - Normal marrow signal intensity is seen. - The visualized part of cord shows normal signal characteristics. - The imaged pre and para-vertebral soft tissue appear normal. - At L2-3, L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1 levels: Disc height is slightly reduced at L5-S1 level. Mild central and para-central disc protrusions are causing thecal sac indentations and neural foraminal narrowing. Left S1 nerve root compression is noted.
