What Is The Soft Lump On The Upper Inner Side Of The Mouth?

hi. i have a lump on the roof of my mouth. it came up swollen about a month ago but went away. now it came back in a day...but doesnt hurt. i found a softer spot on the back side of it when i came home from work and was able to easily drain it. its still slightly swollen. i have been rinsing with warm salt water to keep it clean. no toothache at all but have had some sinus problems lately.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.
It could be enlarged minor salivary gland, could be due to blocked duct. On examination of swelling by a qualified doctor it can be confirmed.
Other possible cause could be tonsil enlargement.

swollen minor salivary gland need to be excised using local anesthesia.
Consult your doctor for examination and further management.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
