hey doctor my name is alexandra i think that i am depressed but i don't really know that's why i was hoping you could help me with that i alwayse get angry at people with no reason and i prefer beeing alone than beeing with someone else i guess that i really need help so i hope you could do that for me and thanks
The symptoms like getting angry on people or irritability, lack of social interaction etc could occur in depression but diagnosis can't be made on these symptoms alone. Detailed evaluation by a psychiatrist is must to make final diagnosis.
Such symptoms can occur due to deficiency of Vitamin B12. Low vitamin B12 levels are known to result in tiredness, drowsiness, irritability and other depressive symptoms. I would advise you to start taking the supplements of B12 and this will result in improvement.
Omega 3 Fatty Acid supplements along with dietary increase of PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acids) also result in reduction of such symptoms of mild depression. If symptoms persist even after these measures then visit a psychiatrist for proper help and treatment.
Thanks, hope this helps you.
