What Is The Solution For Swelling On Eyebrow After Popping A Cystic Pimple?

I have a huge pimple/cyst like substance on my eyebrow. It was really sensitive yesterday, not very swollen but enough to be noticeable. When I woke up this morning, it was very swollen and it looks like I've been punched in the face. It popped this morning, which made it a little better during the day, but when I got home about an hour and a half ago I popped it again and it made it worse. It's hard, swollen, and overall really unpleasant to look at. I have to go into public again tonight, and quick tips that will help? Please, I'm a teenage girl who will face severe torturing if this doesn't go away soon.

Hi, Thanks fro posting at HCM

I would advice that you avoid popping/squeezing since it might push the infection deeper and it will take that much longer to resolve.

I would advice that you take a week of oral antibiotics for it to resolve completely. Get it prescribed from your local practitioner.

Apply a topical antibacterial ointment like 2% mupirocin twice daily for a week.

Take care
