What Is The Sore Lump On My Back?

I have a lump on my back/rib cage just below right shoulder blade but closer to spine. It s soft, maybe fluid or fat, not noticeable. Sore like I was punched, not skin pain, not a boil. Feels like a knot in your muscle. Should I see a doctor? Pain isn t bad, just really sore and uncomfortable. About 1-2“ diameter, egg shaped.

From history it seems that you might be having lipoma or sebaceous cyst producing lump.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
