What Is The Standard Treatment For Hyperthyroidism?
I was just found out my blood work is showing I have hyperthyroidism. I am now in the process of setting up an appointment with endocrinologist but in the mean time my question is How is hyperthroid most frequently treated? What can I do now to reverse this? Can medicine possibly regulate my thyroid? Does this cause fatigue which the reason I asked for blood work??
twomedicine available are methimazole and PTU. still you should consult endocrinologist.it can be regulated, only thing is gofor repeated test and adjustment of dose. symptoms are irritability, tachicardia and intolerance to heat.in case of hyperthyroidism or over active thyroid.
