Would any of these meds do this? Also on average sh tends to take 4 -6 bater asprins a day and just recently past week been giving her 3mg melatonin along with tramadol at night. She is on hospice in my care and losing her mind. But blood sugar way too high. Giving insulin too often now.?
Metoprolol can be associated with slight changes in blood sugar readings in some persons and may or may not be involved in her high blood sugars.
It would also be best for other causes of increased blood sugars to be checked such as infection, the composition of her lunch and supper meals, inadequate medication to control. It may be best to consider taking her to her doctor for an assessment.
I hope this helps
