What Is The Suggestion For Bruised Bump On Forehead After A Fall?

my daughter was jumping on the bed and fell off....she hit her left cheek and has a big, hard, bruised bump on the forehead...she is responding and is awake...what should i do? what should i be checking? Should I take her to the doctor right now or wait until tomorrow?

Hi dear.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Did she puke after the incident?Does she have an open wound?If the bump is increasing in size it is always good to rush to Emergency department as soon as possible.If the lump is of the same size and not increasing with the kid being conscious and absence of vomiting I would suggest to visit the doctor tomorrow.Apply counter irritants to relieve pain.Suggest to give Ibugesic syrup thrice a day after food to relieve her pain.Hope this answers your query.
