What Is The Suggestion For High Fever?
Hello my son has had a fever for about 24 hours early this morning he was really hot i gave him some ibuprofen suspension and his temp did go down, i ve been giving him lots of fluids, i.e. oj, water, chicken noodle soup, and now his temp is 37.4 or 96 f i just want to know should i take him to the emerg or wait it out

Your son has high grade fever early in morning,I am happy you had acted promptly & correctly to help him-which has given good results too. The query in your mind is natural,I understand your concern.
High grade fever can arise from- Exersion,exposure to excessive heat or infection.( Bacterial ,viral)
At present his temperature has come to normal.Give him light nutritious diet& continue fluids. You can add vitamin B complex & vitamin C to Syrup Ibugesic ( in case he has fever/body ache again) ,let him take rest.,observe him for few hours.
As you have given him suspension of Ibugesic,your son seems to be young.
I would advise you to take him to your doctor & get him physically checked/investigated if his temprature rises again, If your son is less than one year- for children are very delicate& early diagnosis/ early treatment/preventive approach is always better for them.
