What Is The Survival Rate After A Heart Attack?

I recently had a widow maker heart attack with 100% of my left anterior descending artery blocked, I am 40 years old. I had a stent put in, my question is this, it has been 16 weeks since this happened and I am back to smoking and no longer take the medication I was given because I cant afford it anymore and frankly dont think it will happen again even though it will. what do you think my survival rate is? I.E. how long do you think I have in your opinion staying on this course.

Hello,

If you continue to skip the drugs, the chances for a repeat attack is high and it will be more intense and severe than the first attack.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
