What Is The Time Gap Required Between IVF S?

Hi,I am suffering from infertility due to PCOS problem. I have 4 failed IUI and have one IVF (12/02/14) which was successful but have a miscarriage on the 4 week of my pregnancy. I am currently 30 years old and my husband is 33 years and his semen analysis is ok. He has no problem. My question is what time gap is required for another IVF from the previous one ? what chances lie for conception and will the miscarriage chances reduces in 2nd cycle?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Generally 3 months gap is advisable between each attempt of IVF.

2) Miscarriage chances cannot be predicted.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
