Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

Having a miscarriage does not affect your chances of having a completely normal pregnancy the next time. I generally recommend you wait until you have one normal menstrual cycle after the miscarriage- that means your hormones are back to normal. You can have sex two weeks after your bleeding stops from the miscarriage, but just use protection until after your first period.

One in 10 pregancies is a miscarriage, which means you have a 90 percent chance of having a normal pregnancy the next time.

Having sex every other day from the time your period finishes until you feel PMS should have 80 percent of couples conceive in one year.

I hope this information was helpful and best wishes, Dr. Brown
