What Is The Treatment For COPD And Why Am I Coughing Up Phlegm?
I have been diagnosed with COPD.I cough up phlegm especially in the mornings. Is there no cure or anything I can take or do .Had I not asked for a copy of the x-ray results I would not even know about it because my GP did not tell me. What do you suggest I could do?

Chronic obstructive lung diseases are very common. Your symptom of morning expectoration suggests Bronchitis . bronchitis is mainly due to smoking . its advisable to quit smoking of you are a chronic smoker. Antibiotics are of no use in copd but still it can prevent superadded bacterial infection. Bronchodilator will be of much help
