What Is The Treatment For HELLP Syndrome?

My sister delivered twins by C section 7 months ago after developing HELLP syndrome. She had DIC & hemorrhaged after the C Sec, necessitating a second surgery the same day. Her Hgb was 6.8 afterwards. She is still having problems with SOB & activity intolerance. She is normally a very active, healthy, thin 32 yo. She Never goes to the doctor & infact has delivered all her other 4 kids at home naturally. She has not had a follow up CBC, but I would think it should be back to normal by 7 months, taking iron supplements daily. What would you suggest for labs other than a CBC, Ferritin, Iron saturation?
