Hello dear
Understand your concern
PCOS cause hormonal imbalance and that will produce the irregularity in the period. You have to consul the gynecologist for proper treatment. Go for reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study.
Yes PCOD can cause fertility problem once your period become irregular. SO main aim is to regular the period.
Doctor will give following medicine to regularize the period:
Oral contraceptive pill or
Progesterone pill/meprate in the second half of the period.
Other drugs: metformin, spionolcatone and flutamide can be sued.
Infertility treatment if occur in future: FSH analogue and clomiphene citrate.
You have to take the treatment for at least 5-6 months to regularize the period.
Do regular exercise, avoid excessive sweet/fatty/oily food. Reduce the wight if you are overweight
Hope this may help you
