What Is The Treatment For A Red Spot On The Tailbone?

Hi i have a red spot just at the bottom of my tailbone and near where butt crack starts, its been sore for a few days and it looks bright red/fleshy colours, i dont know what it is or how to treat it, a little embarrasing but dont know what to do, it is painful when i touch it, doesnt look like any puss in it just red. Any advice please

Hi.
As per your case history you are having irritant rash on tail bone.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
4. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
