What Is The Treatment For A Retinal Tear?

I had a retinal tear. About 5 weeks ago. They did laser surgery to the right eye to seal the tear. After 7 Days, post mop exam revealed a bridging vessel that might or might not b rust.n. It did 2 hours after I got home. I could initially see facial expressions, then just faces, a week later it would appear that I had mor bleeding, a b scan was done see. I'd there was more tearing, there was not ...just. A lot of blood in vitreous humor. In could count fingers see motion, now I see motion just in front of my face. No curtain, just
a. Muddy snow globe view. Said. It could take a month or more to clear. Today was my third b scan. It was recommended. That I. Consider vitrectomy ton remove the blood, but give myself 2 more weeks to see if it would clear. Is this my only option? I. Have 20/20 in left eye currently. Does this sound correct? Should I seek a second opinion?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a retinal tear for which you have undergone laser surgery.
Since you are having vitreous hemorrhage vitrectomy can be considered since the presenting visual acuity appears to be low in the affected eye.
Hence you can undergo vitrectomy for improvement of vision since it has shown no improvement even after 2 weeks.

Thank you
