coughing, sneezing, wheezing at night, (cough and wheezing increases at night), feel like conjestion in chest specially in throat and wind pipe...
all this for over a week....
if this is general pneumonia or some chronic disease....

This is may be due to Upper respiratory infection going for lower respiratory tract infection. I think you have not taken any treatment for your URI.
You need to start a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory and analgesics along with broncholytics and expectorants. They will definitely help you.
