What Is The Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Itching In Vagina?

Pap smear results kliebsella infection. Gave me a vaginal candazole passery, yet i do not find its helpful. Feel vaginal itchy, burning and some time lower abdominal pain for past 3weeks. currently on 5th month anti tubeculosis treatment. please advise.

Hi

Klebsiella being a bacterial infection,antifungal drug that you have been prescribed may not be effective.Treatment with doxycycline or erythromycin for at least 3 weeks is required. Azithromycin has also been used for ease of compliance.

Granuloma inguinale could be the cause. It is a bacterial disease caused by Klebsiella granulomatis characterized by genital ulcers.
