Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I understand that you are worried that you may be having anorexia. To help you understand your problem better, I have given below some of the typical symptoms of an eating disorder:
- Refusal to maintain a body weight that is at or above the minimum normal weight for your age and height
- Intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat
- Having a distorted image of your appearance or shape
- Eating too much food in one go / Bingeing
- Engaging in weight losing behaviours like induced vomiting, purging, taking water pills, etc.

So, in case you have any of these features, you definitely need a detailed evaluation to confirm a diagnosis of an eating disorder.

Please remember that early intervention and treatment has a much better outcome. There are effective treatment options available in the form of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and sometimes, medication like SSRIs can also be helpful. So, please don't hesitate to seek help.

Wish you all the best.
