What Is The Treatment For Burning Sensation In The Chest And Arms?

I had burning in my chest and arm (rsd) following a surgery in 2008. Then I got c diff in 2009 and it seemed to send the rsd through the roof. The burning got unbareable and has never quieted down. Is there a relatioship between rsd and GI? I am not receiving treatment except heavy pain meds (opiates) and want to do more to stop/cure this.

Hello,

There is no relation between RSD and GI. The burning chest is due to gastritis, or ulcer by opiates use, arms burning refers to residual neuropathy post-surgery of RSD.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
