What Is The Treatment For Cold And Sores In Mouth?

hi dr., i am suffering from cold for 1.5 month, and now i smell and taste bad. dr advic for blood test and xray, in that wbc counts are on higher side with eosinophilia and right maxillary sinusitis,and also sores in mouth inner side of upper lips and swelling and pain too much. pl advice

thanks for your query, i have gone through your question, the altered taste and smell could be secondary to your cold and sinusitis, the increased wbc count suggest infection of the sinus and eosinophillia suggest some allergic condition..the soreness of the mouth could be an aphthous ulcer or herpetic ulcer secondary to stress or nutritional deficiency, consult a oral physician...nothing to worry take topical anesthetic and analgesics and do saline gargling 3-4time daily...take a course of antibiotic for the sinusitis after consulting ENT surgeon....i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
