What Is The Treatment For Cold Sore On The Lip?

I have quite a big coldsore on the bottom right side of my lip, now I was given cream but a day later I m feeling unwell. Sickness.headache.feeling drained. But this morning I woke up with the left side of my face numbing, felt as though somebody had slapped me in the face? Is it linked to the Coldsore or?

The most likely diagnosis of your condition based on the description is herpes labialis which is a viral infection caused by herpes simplex virus.It gets reactivated in periods of stress or systemic illness.Oral coarse of oral antiviral called Acyclovir will help.Drink plenty of water and avoid physical and mental stress. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
