What Is The Treatment For Cough And Cold As Blood Test Says WBC 12000?

hi sir,this is rajeev form,kolkata,India.I encounters with cough and cold often for last 3 months .Doctor written TC and DC checkups which says my report is WBC-12000/cummm ,Poly 28% ,Lymph-18%, Eosin - 53% ,mono-01 % .
Am i caught by heavy isnofelia ..please suggest my age is 25

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

According to report yes eodinophils are very high .....

The causes can be ......
-Allergic infection
-parasites infection
-filaria
-pulmonary eosinophilia
-allergic skin disorder
-asthma etc....

Here most likely cause seems to be allergic bronchitis ....

For which chest x ray and spirometry that is pulmonary function test useful.....

You needs to given Allegra like antiallergic drug ....

If needed montelukast like leukotrien inhibitor drug added ...

Steam inhalation two times a day done for few days....

For wet cough ambroxol can be given....

Take turmeric powder in hot milk ....daily .

Consult pulmonologist for auscultation and examination...
