What Is The Treatment For Depression And Constipation?

Hello,

My 85 year Mother is just recovering from a long bout of coughing,wheezing, & infection that she contracted along with her COPD. The Doc gave her a steroid injection to cut down the fluid that she had on her lungs. She is feeling much better now; but it has left her in a very depressed state, & she is constipated. Also, she has had some bereavement in her family, whilst she was ill herself.

Could you tell me how I can help her overcome this depression, please?

Your mother is experienced enough to understand the present conditions. What troubles her, could be, your gloomy face. I shall advise you to sit beside her, be cheerful, tell her old tales, be talketive above olden times. Help her cherish her memories. Trigger her memories. Request your relatives to come and visit your mother and request them to do the same thing you are doing. Memories have the power to transform a persons attitude.
