What Is The Treatment For Diabetic Neuropathy?

I am Ravinder, aged 62, Diabetic for last 22 years. I am diognised Diabetic pheripharal Neuropathy. My Doctor has advised optineurol injuctions & Zefretol 400mg tablets for 5 days. I just want your advice on using Zefretol 400mg tablets and how long I should be taking the optineuron injuctions. Thanks

Hello,
Injction optineuron or injection VIT B 12 must be given for at least 5-7 injections.
As far tablet ZEFRETOL is concerned,it would be better to use GABAPANTINE or PREGABLIN and DULOXETINE.
Take proper amount of VIT D as supplement.
Above all,the prompt and meticulous control of blood sugar levels is the first and foremost important part of treatment.
