What Is The Treatment For Disturbing Nasal Odor?

a foul smell, sulphuric or almost a fecal-type odor coming from my nose. I smell it quite clearly but husband says he doesn't smell anything Have already been treated with 2 courses of tetracycline which greatly diminished the odor toward the end of the treatment, but now, 3 days after the last of that antibiotic, the smell is returning.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain extremely foul smell from the nose can be due to a number of causes like sinusitis, nerve damage, nasal and throat infections etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be diagnostic and he can also advise you investigations like Nasal Endoscopy, MRI or CT scan of sinuses etc to rule out the exact cause of problem and treatment can be planned accordingly..

As of now you can do steam inhalations with few drops of eucalyptus oil in boiling water for a refreshed smell , saline nasal irrigations and also decongestant nasal sprays..
Use a humidifier in your room..
