What Is The Treatment For Dizziness And Ear Ache?

I have had alot of dizziness several months which I thought was from my Multiple Sclerosis, however, my MRI from my Neuro showed No Active Lesions on My Brain. I since have had Popping Ears about Everyday, a bit or Pain/pressure on my ear, some drainage from ears occasionally, and slight pain right jaw, ear, neck, and a slight cough, have to Clear My throat when talking, etc. (have had a slight cough with bit of flem for 2 years since I last had an upper respiratory). Any Thoughts?? I plan to see an ENT soon I hope. Anything I can do/try in the meantime? Thank you very much for your help

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness and ear ache which can occur due to accumulation of ear wax, ear fluid, ear infection to more serious acoustic neuroma like condition. Need not to worry. If your symptoms and episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with sharp object. Doctor may order certain test like audiometery , CT scan ,MRI , low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax build-up , middle ear infection. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , may prescribe medicine antibiotics.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
