What Is The Treatment For Ear Ache And Dizziness?

I hit the top of my head on the 25th and the eveing of the 27th, I developed an ear ache. Dr said no infection, but prescribed antibiotics. No fever, no discomfort moving jaw but area in front of ear/jaw painful, causing headaches, dizziness, and very tired. No difference with antibiotics. Tylenol helps pain but not anitinflamitories.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ear ache and dizziness which can occur due to accumulation of ear wax, ear fluid, ear infection to more serious condition like acoustic neuroma. Need not to worry. If your symptoms and episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. Doctor may order certain test like audiometery , CT scan ,MRI , low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax build-up , middle ear infection. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , may prescribe medicine antibiotics. Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with sharp object.
