The commonest causes of ear ache with bleeding are one of the following: Rupture of tympanic membrane. If you are on medicines called blood thinner the bleeding does not stop. Any bleeding or clotting disorder. Polyp in ear. Severe otitis externa. Hence you should consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, Cleaning to see an exact cause. Ear packing. Get the relevant bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombine time. Stop the blood thinners if you are on any. Further treatment as per the cause found.
