What Is The Treatment For Epilepsy?

I have epilepsy and am planning on going out to have 2-3 drinks with some friends. Is there a high risk of me having a seizure? Also, should I take my medicine (Trileptal) before going out or as usual just before going to bed (we're going out around midnight and normally get back around 2 or 3 in the morning)
