What Is The Treatment For Erythema Nodosum?

I have been dealing with erythema nodosum for the past 3 months. I am currently taking 10 mg of Prednisone once daily, which is keeping the symptoms under control (still not completely resolved). I have a trip planned for Florida in May and I'm interested in doing some indoor tanning prior to this but am concerned about possible complications w/the erythema as well as the steroid treatment.

Hi I did review your condition.
Erythema nodosum is caused by inflammation of subcutaneous fat.
the treatment includes steroids and if you are doing well to it you should not worry. but I would not advice tanning as it is injurious to skin and causes malignancy. Also steroids lower immunity to fight infections as well as developing cancer cells. so my advice would be to stay away from tanning.

I hope this helps
Wish you all the best
