What Is The Treatment For Fever, Sore Throat, Cough And Irritation In Back Of Tongue?

ive been sick for the past week all week just got over fever achiness sore throat but now my throat and back of my tongue is very irritated and itchy and its making me cough what can I do to aliveate this coughing?im losing sleep I have type 2 diabetes

Hi, thanks for using HCM.

With history sore throat, you would have taken treatment for it. Your symptom of throat irritation could be due to post nasal drip or persisting inflammation in throat or Gastro esophageal re flux causing irritation in throat. Get examined by doctor for for diagnosis.

management depends on cause.

salt water gargling 3 times a day helps to reduce irritation.
