What Is The Treatment For Hand And Thump Pain?

i have a muscle problem. im sure its not a sprain, i have no swelling only when i move my hand thumb or my wrist then i feel the pain, but its like it gets really stiff and cant move it, i have to hit my legvwith the back of my hand for the muscle to relax and the pain would stop at that point . can u help me please?
