What Is The Treatment For Hard Lump On The Face?

I have a hard knot in my cheek after a black and blue bruising from a car accident two weeks ago. Cat scan and MRI showed no facial fractures. I also have a smaller knot in my inner bottom kip which was also black and blue. Should I be concerned? Will it go away over time? Thank you

Hi, you didn't mention your age and sex; However, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of this dark lumps, I would come up with only one and one possibility and that is hematoma or blood-filled sacs!

there is nothing to worry as there is no fracture as on CT/MRI!

I suggest you to go for an FNAC test from the swelling for confirmation and to relieve (aspiration and disappearance of the swelling) your concerns!

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
