What Is The Treatment For Hearing Disorders?

dear sir, we are from durgapur, west bengal . actually sir my father is facing problem in hearing sound both his ears. his age is 51, Gender- Male. our local doctor said that one side ears is totally blocked and other side ( in 100% ---- 80% problem & 20% ok ) our local doctor told that there is no chance to return his power of hearing and take machine.

Hi,

It seems that your father is having presbycusis or age related hearing problem. With age hearing goes down due to nerve weakness. There is no medical or surgical options for the treatment. You can take vitamin supplements but it may or may not benefit. So you can opt for hearing aid and it will beneficial for him at this age. There are several types of hearing aid of various cost. You can choose of your own. Visit an audiometrist and opt for hearing aid.
