What Is The Treatment For Hematoma In Rib Cage?

Yes, I fell a few weeks ago and fell hit my left upper rib area on a sharp object....the dr did xrays and said I had a hematoma...it has gotten worse and yesterday i had a ct scan done,,,,they called and said they found a nodule and are referring me to a pulmonologist...its really swollen and hard to breath...what does this mean? they said it was 5mm or so
