What Is The Treatment For Hpv And Herpes?

okay, recently in december i got checked to see if i have anything, the only thing they didnt check me for that i just found out was hpv and herpes, which im going to get retested on the 20th due to a missunderstanding when i first called in. But my former partner i was with for 3 years and i broke up at the beginning of august, he had unprotected sex with a girl and didnt tell me, we were still doing things together. well i was having discharge and stuff so i went to get checked i was told i had group b strep,, well they gave me antibiotics and i wasnt to have sex for a week.. i believe i still have the group b strep, i am not pregnant, i know this for a fact, and the problems im having now is, the discharge is getting chunky, its straight white, there isnt a foul odar and its never anycolor other than white, i have a new sex partner that im with now and have been for about a month,, but the pain i have been having in my genital area has gotten worse to the point where every stroke he took during intercourse was painful, i also had these little flesh colored bumps that popped up around my vagina opening,, they havint worsend but there there and ive never had them before,, :(, in my past i had an ex cheat on me i had chlamydia for two years and i couldnt get rid of it till last june or july.. its definitly gone now cus i got checked last month. i just need answeres :(

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Unprotected sex does carry a risk of STD's specially if you were unsure about your sexual partner.
The flesh colored bumps could possibly be genital warts. Genitals warts is an STD and are caused by HPV. The only way you could have acquired warts is through sexual intercourse with an infected partner. Warts are otherwise asymptomatic. Clinical examination is usually sufficient to confirm the diagnosis of warts.
Regarding vaginal discharge I would think of it being most likely due to yeast infection because it is chunky and white. I guess there must be some associated itching too.
I would suggest you to visit a sexual health specialist for a confirmatory diagnosis, appropriate testing and treatment.
It would be a good idea to not engage in sexual activity till you get appropriately tested and treated for possible genital warts and vaginal discharge because there is a chance of passing it on to your sexual partner.

Regards
Always practice safe sex with a condom!
