What Is The Treatment For Hydrocephalus And Severe Headaches?

Hi I have suffered from hydrocephalus since birth, I was born in 1977 and have worked since leaving school until about two years ago due to severe headaches. sickness and increasing loss of coordination.

I have had CT and MRI scans and although there is an increase in the size of the ventricles my consultant says that there is no sign of significant hydrocephalus and as such will do nothing. As a result of this it is impossible for me to work until something can be done, I currently received ESA from the government but a friend has told me that I "should" be entitled to claim DLA, do you know whether this is the case and if so how do I go about making a claim?
