What Is The Treatment For Hypothyroid In A 30 Year Old?

Hi!

My wife who is 30 years old has got hypothyroid. We have visited an endocrinologist and have been prescribed the following medicine:

1) zorflash / torflash Sachets - Once in 2 weeks

2) ErinacSR - once every day after the breakfast for 6 days

3) Allerfix total - once every day after the break fast for 6 days

I need your help in advising if I have spelled the medicine name correctly, as I am not able to get them at any medical stores. I am based out of Delhi-NCR and my wife has to start the medication from today.

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello and thank you for asking.

i read your query and understood your concerns.

The treatment you mentioned above consists in Vit D supplements and pain killers. There is no treatment for hypothyroidism.
Perhaps she has other problems too.

If you would like to have further information regarding to hypothyroidism treatment please attach the results of the exams she has done so i can be orientated better and give a proper answer.
It will be a pleasure to hear from you again.

Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta Guni
