What Is The Treatment For Irregular Periods And Sharp Pain In The Stomach?

Hi i have suffered irregular periods since the birth of my daughter 5 years ago i have a period then miss a month so only having a period every 49 days my doctor sent me for an internal scan and it shows i have 15 follicles on my right ovary. My ovaries are a normal size and my hormone levels are normal but sometimes i can bleed for two weeks instead of my normal 5 days. I can feel my ovaries tingle when the follicles burst and have a slight sharp pain for a few seconds. Are they normal ovarian cysts or polycystic ovaries? My doctor thinks they could just be follicular cysts. I am worried it might reduce my chances of conceiving another child but i am being optamistic that i have conceived a normal healthy child already and i suffered a miscarriage 2 years ago and we had only been trying a month and this is since having my irregular cycles. Any advice would be appreciated x
