What Is The Treatment For Itchy Red Bump In The Buttock?

Hi I m a 30 year old mother of 3 I have recently had an itchy red bump in my bum crack about a week ago I wiped my backside and I think I may have grazed the area at that time and these symptoms have appeared since then - however my 10 year old son has not got the same itchy red bump(I have been to the doctor when I was pregnant with my third child and he said my issue was caused from over zealous wiping) but I m concerned it could be something contagious as my son now has the same symptoms

this likely is viral abscess that can be present for to unhygienic methods of wiping the area, like wipe area away from the bump, if you do the other way round, all the surrounding dirt may touch the bump and make it more infected, also your immunity would be towards a lower side and this may cause recurrence of these complaints,.I would suggest you to follow good hygiene and start up a course with antibiotics as early as possible after further consultation.
