Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to metabolic disorder. Peripheral neuropathy or vitamin B12 deficiency can not be excluded.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing further tests:

- vitamin B 12 plasma levels
- blood electrolytes for possible electrolyte imbalance
- iron levels for possible iron deficiency
- vitamin D levels for possible deficiency

A nerve conduction study may be needed to exclude polineuropathy.

Hope to have been helpful!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
