What Is The Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have a little discomofrt slight pain in my lower abdemon. I experice this more when I am on my menstural cylce. but it is not as noticeable when I am not on my cylce, But the annoying pain is still there. it bothers me some days and some days it does not. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your query.
You have a typical history of little discomfort and slight pain in the lower abdomen when you are on periods.
This indicates one of the following possibilities.
-Congestion of the pelvis , so common during the menstrual period.
-Possibility of mild PID meaning Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.
-Endometriosis to be kept in mind.

I would suggest you the following:
Ultrasonography of the abdomen during the painful period and on other days .
Consult the Gynecologist to have clinical evaluation, physical examination, order for investigations and getting a valid prescription.
