What Is The Treatment For Mole On The Leg?

Hi, I have a mole on my leg, it's only been there for two years. I've seen my doctor and he said it's fine but the nurse said I had been bittern by something and may look like a mole. The mole isn't painful but sometimes the surrounding area is. It's a flesh colour lump. What do u think this could be?
