Hello and welcome to HCM,
Numbness and swelling of fingers after road traffic accident suggests injury to the soft tissues of fingers/hand.
Numbness suggests injury to the nerves supplying the fingers.
A clinical assessment is required to determine the site of numbness and extent of numbness.
Most of the nerve injuries recover after some time after the two injured ends of the nerve regenerate.
You need to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment.

Thanks and take care
