What Is The Treatment For Penile Infection After Sex With Infected Partner? Using Clotrimazole, Fluconazole Respectively

hi doctor, my wife underwent laboratyr and diagnosed to have fungal infection caused by candida albican, she is given fluconazole once a week for three months, and i also have a an infection on my penis, i dont know if this is transmitted from my wife, i used clotrimazole candibec and it disappear few days, but i noticed that it always comeback when i had sex with my wife...what will i do for this?..thanks

Hi. The vaginal infection which your wife is having (Candida or Trichomonas) will go only once both partners are treated simultaneously,Otherwise it will be recurrent.
There are kits available in the market ,like Myconorm-4 kit( please take prescription from your Dr.)and take both of you.She can also get her Pap Smear done and you may get one VDRL test done. Avoid sex till she is on treatment.
